  • Main Track Papers (Full & WIP)

  • Alternative Session Proposals (Workshops, Panels, Special Sessions, and Student Panels)

For Main Track Papers, authors must submit an Extended Structured Abstract as the first stage in the submission process. Abstracts are screened for relevancy to the conference topic and either accepted or rejected.

Authors of Accepted Abstracts are expected to submit a Preliminary Paper for peer review. The Technical Program Committee consider all reviews before deciding if a paper is accepted, rejected, or requires revisions. The full Main Track submission process is outlined below:

  1. Extended Structured Abstract

  2. Preliminary Paper

  3. Revised Paper (only if notified revisions are necessary)

  4. Final Camera Ready Manuscript

For Alternative Session Proposals, organizers must submit a Proposal as the first stage in the submission process. Proposals are reviewed by the Technical Program Committee and selected for inclusion in the program. Proposals are either accepted or rejected.

Organizers with Accepted Proposals are expected to submit a Proposal Paper for TPC review. The TPC Jr Members review all proposal papers and decide if a paper is accepted or requires revisions. The full Alternative Session Proposal submission process is outlined below:

  1. Proposal

  2. Proposal Paper

  3. Revised Proposal Paper (only if notified revisions are necessary)

EDAS Upload Errors

To resolve this and successfully upload to EDAS, please follow one of the methods below to ensure all fonts are embedded in your PDF:

    • Use the pdflatex compiler to generate your PDF

    • Run the command: pdffonts yourfile.pdf to check embedding

    • If needed, convert using Ghostscript:
      gs -dEmbedAllFonts=true -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=output.pdf input.pdf

  • Option 3: Adobe Acrobat Pro

    • Open your PDF in Acrobat

    • Go to File > Properties > Fonts

    • Make sure all fonts are marked "Embedded" or “Embedded Subset”

  • Option 2: PDF-XChange Editor (Free)

    • Open the PDF

    • Go to File > Document Properties

    • Delete any personal information fields

    • Save the file

  • Option 3: Online Tools

    • Use a free tool like sejda.com/metadata or pdfescape.com

    • Upload your PDF and remove metadata as needed

    • Download and re-check the file before uploading to EDAS

Before re-uploading, open your PDF and go to File > Properties > Description to confirm all personal information is removed.
